B J E MAY: When will the ALP do something about the illegal stuff?
March 15 at 1:14pm

MS: Benny what was you doing when Howard was in for 11-12 years? It seems to me now Labor is in office you wish to focus your case all on them. If this is their fault. So what did the Liberals do for your case in all that time? So all this time Benny WHAT DID LIBERALS DO ALL THOSE YEARS about the illegal stuff hhhhhmmmmmm.

FN: Vets get screwed by the Australian Government, My father was at Maralinga and was exposed to radiation, he and others died early from it. Never compensated, the Government are a bunch of murderers
Yesterday at 2:23pm

MS: That is political governments everywhere. Basically you sign up to be a human guinea pig. I stress this is not singularly a Federal Labor Government issue. It would take a very brave opposition to address this, as much for a Government. People should know and be aware. But I stress Ben showing a personal political persuasion or bias for this case can only make the matter more difficult.

FN: Its a Government issue. They screw you over and cover their own ass, the politicians are always shafting each other so why would they treat the public any different, there is a culture of lying and covering up in all levels of government.

FN: And because the Liberals shafted this guy does it excuse Rudd to do the same?

B J E May: MS, good advice & qu’s. The Liberals and The Nationals, said they would look into it. TGA, DVA, and the ADF said the same. I’ve asked the ALP (Combet for one) to investigate also, but ALP won’t even tell me if they will investigate. I am not persuaded by either political side in this. I’m persuaded by experience, and other evidence. In my case, I’ve noticed NO difference/distinction between Libs & ALP.
I fear you may be right.

B J E May Why does the Air Force REFUSE to reveal the outcomes of the investigations that I requested?
16 March at 6:11pm

DS: It’s because Mulder & Scully have already thwarted their plans one too many times.

March 2 at 7:29pm

CH: good work on all your writing Benny May . I bet you will help you and others. cheers.
March 3 at 5:24am ·

MB …Cold comfort for you, but when I told my mum about the bennymay story, she told me a story about one of her friend’s brothers who was in the Army, was basically used as a glorified lab (desert) rat and was subsequently discharged with serious mental health issues, unable to work in ANY capacity. these incidences are seriously wrong situations caused by our govt who need to be held accountable.

AP: Hey Ben,
I saw your wedding photos through some feed link from Justin Moffatt or somewhere, and so had a sticky beak. Many congratulations! It looks beautiful and the photos are fabulous. And I haven’t started on your story yet, sorry, but I am going to read it sometime soon! It’s sure to be a good read based on those good ole WBW days.
All the very best, AP

B J E May hey, thanks. I wrote 99% of that story back when it happened, or soon afterwards. So don’t expect too much. In fact, same goes for my new writings. :)
January 31 at 8:21pm ·

AP: Hey well you know, I’m expecting something a little left of centre, because you always had that quirk factor, so I hope I won’t be disappointed on that. :)
All’s pretty well here, thanks.

DL: Yea Ben tell us about the stories of your top gun years! Were you cooler than Tom Cruise?
December 13, 2009 at 7:15pm

JC: … But yeah, it’s great that you’re sharing it as well, and who knows, if enough cases similar to yours happen and get reported, then 20 years from now, it might actually become mandatory to do some medical tests first to make sure the person is compatible with the vaccinations? Sad that cases like yours have to happen at all though, just because some regulations weren’t followed.
Don’t really know what to say; it’s a pretty sad story. You’ve gone through so much…
Thanks again for sharing. I feel like I finally understand you now…or maybe more understand why you are who you are?? The whole time I was reading, I kept going “Oh, so THAT’s why….” I don’t think I’ve ever said this to you; I’ve always felt like you were a mystery.
… Yeah, reading your story has made me think a bit more about my profession as well. So often, pharmacists and doctors neglect to tell patients the possible side effects that can happen from a new medication or vaccination. All because 1) it’s really quite “rare” so there’s no point getting the patients all alarmed over something that’ll most likely not happen or 2) they’re lazy or 3) they’re not thinking of the consequences. Hmm, yeah, we really should treat each patient as a person, and not just as a case. So, just wanted to say, you sharing your story has not been in vain … it has touched ME. =)

B J E May: Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts. I am flattered you’d read my words, and very grateful for your comments.
>it might actually become mandatory to do some medical tests first to make sure the person is compatible with the vaccinations?
That is a brilliant thought. I’m glad you were able to look at a mess, and think of a way to improve medicine. Well done!
>I’ve always felt like you were a mystery.
Hmm. If I keep quiet, are people more likely to assume I’m imagining amazing and mysterious things?
I do prefer to hear and learn than to speak (though I usually prefer for people to share their stories, without my pressuring them).
>All because 1)…
I am interested to read your confession. Many doctors, nurses, and pharmacists have told me those same things (and many others). I’m sure you know you’re not alone in feeling that way.
Thanks again for sharing, and reading.
All the best,
bennymay
